Our Farm

Nestled in the heart of the beautiful Shropshire countryside, The Moat Farm is a peaceful and idyllic rural retreat, close to the borders of Cheshire and North Wales. The farm enjoys stunning views across the surrounding hills and offers a rare opportunity to escape the noise and busyness of everyday life. It is wonderfully quiet and secluded, with little more than birdsong, the gentle sounds of the countryside and, occasionally, the unmistakable holler of a donkey!

Alongside our animal therapeutic work, The Moat Farm is also home to horses belonging to private owners, with stabling and facilities available for their care. Our farm includes purpose-built stables, grooming facilities, a large pond and a dedicated arena for horses. We also have a beautiful enclosed outdoor area where families and groups can enjoy special occasions, afternoon tea and a range of creative craft activities, all surrounded by the peace and beauty of the countryside. Whether you're spending time with the animals, enjoying an activity with family or simply taking in the views, The Moat Farm is a place to slow down, breathe and enjoy the simple things.
